Skin care for everyone!

In my last post I started to mentioned skin care and I even boldly stated that I won the battle against bad skin.

Well, in my opinion I did. When I look at photos from January I noticed I had really bad skin with a lot of acne, pimples and red spots. Especially around my forehead and mouth area.

Now when I started to try and loose weight, I have attempted to eat less fast food and bad food (like candy, chips etc). I have also started to walk almost everyday, and I even trained sometimes. This has really cleansed my skin and now I have almost no pimples at all! Happy!

The first step to try and cure bad skin is healthy (or at least healthier) food and more exercise! (Exercise is the cheapest alternative :))

I also have to give some credit to Dermalogica and their wonderful products. I would really recommend to buy one of their skin care kits - they have for all different types of skin and even a skin for teens. They can be pricey but in the kit you get several different products, and after trying all you can choose which product or products you liked the best and only buy those. You should consult someone that works for Dermalogica to see which kit that suits your skin the best!

I actually received a Teen Skin Kit as a gift from my boyfriends mom, thank you! :)
In this kit you get: a Daily Moisturizer, a Nightly Moisturizer, a Scrub, a Spray and a Wash Off. I really liked these products and they felt really nice and clean on my skin.

I decided that I wanted to continue with Dermalogica but I wanted to try a new moisturizer since I got a really greasy T-zone (The teens series have a bit thicker skin products).  I bought Dermalogica Active Moist which is especially for people with oily skin (and mixed skin). This product can be used as both day and nigh moisturizer and that works wonderfully for me. However some people might feel that they want a thicker nightly moisturizer, if that's the case you can buy another thicker night cream from Dermalogica as well.

You can buy this in NK or Åhléns in Stockholm, but you can also order from the web:

However it doesn't seem like they have the teen skin kit on the net... :(

My product cost 600kr for 100ml. There was also the possibility to buy 50ml but the cost was 400kr, so I felt it was better to buy the bigger one. You are only supposed to use one click as bis as a pea for each time. That's enough! Especially this Active Moist cream is quite runny so when you open the lid there is already a bit of cream on the opening, and that's enough to cover your face. You don't need to take more! The 100ml bottle should last for about 6 months so even if it feels expensive it really lasts long.

Well, at least I like Dermalogica a lot and it has really helped my skin improve! I guess I should go to sleep now, work is waiting for me in the morning.

Good night!
